Through the eras art has been developing, with each era providing a new form. So from animal and vegetable dyes, to watercolors and oil paints, charcoal and rice paste, to digital art, there are so many forms to select from. This is what makes the world of art intriguing and dynamic. While it is all about capturing a scene and freezing it forever, yet there is dynamism because of the constant changes that keep happening. However, interestingly, unlike in the fashion world, in the art world old styles continue to dominate the present scene as much as the age forms that are introduced. And the experimental artists make the most of amalgamating the various forms.

Digital art is one such recently introduced and continuously developing form of art. Basically, this form of art is generated on a computer. This maybe something original or then, enhancing an already existing artwork by scanning it and digitally creating backgrounds, enriching the colors, etc.

Digital art galleries are not just those physically existing galleries where people go to view the work. They are also those created on the computer, through which one can virtually travel. In fact, many consider this a miraculous development, as artists from around the world can enjoy global exposure at any given time, thereby also expanding their client base.

One of the interesting types is that of abstract digital art, which pours into the creation of mind-boggling optical illusions. This is also considered as one of the forms of modern art, where the artist creates a play of objects and colors, with nothing specific in mind, and the people viewing it lose themselves in the picture with their own perceptions of meaning.

Digital 3d art is one of the most innovative and unique forms to have come into being. By 3d is implied three dimensional, which optically creates a feeling of coming out of the canvas. The person seeing such art feel as if they can touch the object for real. It is a form of optical illusion.

People can learn this art form through the numerous digital arts tutorials that are floating around. However, essentially one needs to know how to operate a computer, as well as the various software that need to be installed. There are courses available, as well at home study modules. However, apart from theoretical information, one needs to give enough of time to practice and master the art.

Digital fine art is all about creating original artwork on the computer. This is different from digital photography art; fine art is creation of a figment of the imagination and photography is about enhancing a preexisting picture or photographer, by scanning and importing. However, no matter what type one is into, their work can be exhibited in a digital art show and viewed by the world, depending on the mode they opt for.
